Out-of-furnace treatment enables deep metal desulfurization to be carried out, ensures the chemical composition homogeneity of steel and a reduction in the quantity of nonmetallic inclusions, increases alloying accuracy and improves the physical and mechanical properties of steel. The new equipment for dressing, needle milling and turning makes it possible to increase the precision of geometric parameters and raise the quality of rolled product surfaces. The laboratory and measuring equipment ensures control of the chemical composition, structure and physical-and-mechanical metal properties as well as the geometry of products.
Suppliers of materials, including raw materials, are actively drawn into the quality raising process.
