| The shop was reconstructed in 1975, and provides the reception, processing of all main and auxiliary materials being necessary for the manufacture of steel and their feed to steel-making furnaces. For stripping of metal scrap and increase of its bulk weight, a mechanised gas cutting plant, faggoting presses as well as individual facilities for fire cutting of oversized scrap are used. A mechanised furnace charge loading and feed section provides the transportation of all materials being necessary for material melting to the steel-making shop. In 2002, a limestone calcination furnace was installed in the shop. A section for ferroalloy crushing and drying for the "ladle-furnace" unit was commissioned in 2003. |
